I like to test my code on older browsers, and I'm looking for IE 5 (different versions as well, like 5.5) but I'm not finding anything.

I found Netscape 4.xx which was cool, but finding things between 4 and 7 is tough.

Does anyone have a good spot to find all of this older stuff?

Bear in mind that you can't have two copies of IE installed under the same OS at once.

You've either got to keep installing and uninstalling; make the machine dual-boot; or use a second machine.

No such problem with multiple versions of NN or Opera.

Hope that isn't too much information, too much information, :)

Couldn't a second version of ie 5.5 be installed on another drive? Or does it need system files to do that...?

says Victor, but I recall a previous post on this forum or somewhere else.

It seems to be possible to run an Internet Explorer 4 compatible browser "side-by-side" with Internet Explorer 5, but only on older Windows.
From the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

How to Install and Use Compatibility Mode in Internet Explorer 5 [support.microsoft.com]

And now back to me ol' pal Jack D.
Have a good weekend. Cheers!
