Nested Template Alt tags -- Do not show up?

I have alt tags on my main template that all show up. And when the nested template; which is a secondary nav-bar, comes up, the main alt tags show, but the nested template alt tags do NOT!

damm, I hope someone understands that mummble jumble;)

How do you mean nested template? I'm a little confused here! Stating the obvious, is there alt information on the images in your secondary nav?

Are you using includes to populate the nav. If so what server-side method or language are you using?

Also, are you using layers and/or transparancy? They could be stuck behind something.

1) the alt info is on the seconday nav bar

2)I am not making includes. Then secondary template, is the nav-bar.

3) I am using layers, and it could diffenetly be hidden behind something, I will check that out!

The layers do not look to be overlapped....

Only other thing I can think of is if your images are being used as table background images. Atm, thats the only other way the alt tags would not show!

I have been doing SEO, on this site, that I did not design. I have been cursing up and down, and how bad the design work is! THis is just one more thing to add to the list.

The secondary template was not attached to the proper html pages:(:(

So I just went into every page and hand coded it in!
