how to check your site in all/most of the browsers online?

There might be an easier way to do this, but I use two machines -> My design machine has all current versions of the major and minor browsers I want to test for and I have an older (1st generation pentium) machine with some older browser versions.

Check out the browser archive [browsers.evolt.org] and install all the versions you need. For multiple versions of IE you'll need other machines, a multiple boot system, or something like VMWare that lets you set up a virtual PC.

AnyBrowser [anybrowser.com] allows you to view your pages according to different HTML versions.

Yes, and there are often differences in the "same" version of a browser on different operating systems. The total number for combinations of browsers and operating systems is overwhelmingly large, you just CAN'T look at them all.

The best answer I've found is to validate your code, developing first in a standards compliant browser like Mozilla. Then check your template page in a few other browsers - and especially on a Macintosh, if you can.

The Safari browser [apple.com] is gaining ground very rapidly among the Mac users I know, and for good reasons. Compared to the other browsers that are developed first for PC and then sort of crammed into the Mac, this is a just for-and-by Apple development, and the browser is really a sweetheart.

However, I have been seeing the occasional oddity in CSS/JS support. Since we have Macs on hand, I find it valuable to check, just in case something vital has gone wonky.

I just had a quick look at it Shaadi but doesnt it have JS enabled and it views webpages like NS4.

You could try out this commercial service which would seen to fit the bill:

I've not used it, but it appears to be an interesting concept.
