This is my first go at html email. I don't seem to be able to find a site offering tutorial on this subject. I thought it would be as simple as writing html inside outlook (express for mac). But not so. So, do I write the html in say, BBedit and then import it to OE.?

And looking at some source code I see strange html stuff like this: 3D and 3DO for margins and other stuff. What does this mean?

Thx if you can direct me to a tut site.

I think this post [webmasterworld.com] is what you are after.

thanks for that link which I'll get to work on. But I'm still wondering what the 3DO bits are?

I'm using outlook express 5 for mac. Not OE2000. Can I still use a html template? If not, what version of OE should I be using to be able to do this? I'm not using an exchange server to use OE2000.

thx

Not sure if this will work on a MAC on on OE5

But using Oulook Express 6 on a PC you can add HTML to a page as part of the signatures settings.

Go to >>

>Options

>Signatures

>click the 'file' radio button

>select you html page

>OK it and tick the 'add signature to outgoing message'

>Any new message will now contain the the HTML 'signature'

I found this applescript called:

.....send complex email html......

This works fine on my Mac/OE5, but will not allow more than one window to be open at once.
