scrolling text with different browsers

I've got a quick question.

I am designing a site with scrolling text and have no problems when viewing the text on a PC but with a Mac it's not scrolling! Works perfect in internet explorer 4.5 on a Mac but won't scroll in internet explorer 5.1 on a Mac.

I have used the div function for the scrolling.

Am I missing something?

I know that IE5 on the Mac was a notoriously buggy browser - have a look at this page [macedition.com] for a list of the bugs.

The first question to ask is how are your achieving your scrolling? JavaScript and overflow?
