Can anyone help me with PDF document external links. All urls to send mail or webpages seem to open Internet Explorer, even with Netscape 7.0 as my default browser, AND even with Netscape already open.

Plus, If I disable IE then the PDF document links don't open at all.

Cheers to anyone who can help.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Spaceman

You can reset your browser of choice in either Acrobat or Acrobat reader. Just open

File > Preferences > Weblink

..and use the browse button to locate your browser's .exe file

OK,

But Preferences is under the Edit menu for my Reader version,
and there is no Weblink option to be found?

Ah, yes, I haven't upgraded in a while - and me with the software all paid for and sitting here!

I hear that a RIGHT click on the link may give you the options you're looking for - and in the mean time, I'm searching for more information. I may even install the new software, who knows?

Anyone else? How to choose what browser launches from a PDF weblink in Acrobat 5?
