I receive html emails from potential customers daily. We have to cut and paste or manually re-enter this data into several different insurance company websites and of course, each website is different. Is there a software that would do it for me after I show it what to do? Sort of like recording a macro in excel. I have heard of Screen Scrubber Technology that is basically an automated cut and paste of this information but can't find anything on the subject.

What data is coming to you? Is this a submission form? Is all the data formatted the same? How are these e-mails generated? All from one site, one form, one subject? Or many...

What exactly are you trying to do with the e-mails? Do they go immediately to the web, or do they become part of a database which is later posted to data-driven sites?

We have several standardized forms on our website that users complete online. One for an Auto Insurance quote, a Homeowners quote form, etc. When submitted, it comes to us as an email in html format. They do not become part of a database. We then need to move the data to various insurance company propreitary websites, each being a little different.

Maybe the best thing to do is to change what is happening on submission of the form. Instead of it being a form-to-mail script, use the submission to put the information into a text file, in a format that suits you best.

Do you want the information to go directly to the site(s), or do you want to manually review it first?

If we had it in a txt file, I still have the problem of moving directly into a company website. Yes we would need to review it first, before moving it to the website.
