Table border appears 3-D in Netscape, but flat in IE

I have what I hope is a simple question. In IE 6 have made a table and the boarder is 4 pixles wide. I like the way it lays flat on the page. But when I view it in Netscape it displays in a raised 3D instead of being flat. Is there a simple way to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

That is how netscape renders borders. I believe in 6 and higher you can specify solid and get a nonridged border, but I am not certian. I know in Netscape 4.x the ridged borders are all you can have.
