this is limited by ie/windows, but can be fixed with a regestry setting. here is what i found out:
If you have a good connect to the net but you feel internet explorer sucks then try to these regestry keys to push up browsing performance.
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000019
"MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000019
"MaxConnectionsPerServer": defines the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.1 server. Double-click on it and type your value in the Decimal box (default is 2).
"MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server": defines the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.0 server. Double-click on it and type your value in the Decimal box (default is 4).
