Ok, I am at my wit's end.

Mozilla, in any release, will not properly install on my comp anymore. If I run it once, it wont run again until I restart my comp. Everytime thats how it is.

Even pheonix i have to reinstall from time to time.

Both browsers eventually begin to only pop up a empty window, that is only the size of the resize and close buttons.

Anyone have this experience or know what I can do?

First, make sure that you're removing your profile directory when reinstalling. On the pre-1.0 builds I had lots of problems with uncompatible preferences files. Maybe some file corrupted for you between versions.

Other questions: What build/version/platform are you using? Did you already file a bug report?

look here: [mozilla.org...]

1) download a new version of Mozilla / Phoenix
2) *completely* erase (thrash & empty trash) Mozilla / Phoenix
3) rename folder Mozilla into Mozilla-bak
4) install a completely fresh version of Mozilla / Phoenix

ad 2) if you've installed on top of a previous release, this sometimes go bad
ad 3) so that you can re-establish mail, bookmarks etc.
