Scroll Bar Colour - Changing it.

Before I get the comments DO NOT MESS WITH THE BROWSER CHROME, I'm no trying to on the main window.

I have a <div> that will overflow text occasional, I have the overflow: scroll set. The problem is that with the colour layout of the form (which has a fixed height) the scroll bars on the scrolling <div> looks real NAF. The scroll bars really do need to fit the colour scheme. After extensive googling I get the impression I will need to use a different idea or technology to get the results.

So my question is what other possibilities exist to create this effect.

The easy answer would be Flash.

CSS will work for some browsers. Check older threads about changing scrollbar colors [google.com].
