Hi folks,

If I place a table on a page with 7 cells in a row, I set the fist cell to a width in pixels for a 'spacer', if I specify the remaining 6 cells as % width do they take a % of the remaining space (minus the pixel spacer) or do they take a % of the total table width?

The percentage is based on the width of the whole table, so the results are unpredictable when widths are specified using different measurements.

I would use CSS to set padding on the first column rather. Creating an empty columns for display purposes is unsemantic, anyway.
