Is it possible to have favicon display for a bookmarkLET? in IE7, FF? or in any browser at all?

I've tried a few bookmarklets and none of them seem to be showing the favicon, yet I can swear that I've seen it working a long time ago. Is this something that has stopped working with newer versions of browsers?

I have created my own bookmarklet that does not display the favicon even tho, the bookmarks to my site, address bar etc. all show the favicon.

Thanks & regards,

I also think I remember seeing the characteristic Y! graphic icon show in my toolbar for a bookmarklet to Site Explorer, but that is no longer true. I do wonder about my memory at times ;)

I've done a bit of research, and from what I've found so far, it seems that this is not default browser behavior -- but can be acccomplished (in some browsers at least, with custom add-ons or other user coding. I will keep looking, because that seems odd to me. I'm not convinced that I've got found accurate information.

Maybe someone else will come along with a different or more complete answer in the meanwhile.
