Has anyone done this?

<meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="blendTrans(Duration=0.2)">
<meta http-equiv="Page-Exit" content="blendTrans(Duration=0.2)">

I knew this functionality existed, but never put two and two together to use it like this. Well, I saw this technique on another website and thought it was the coolest thing. Of course it only works with IE, but I love it. :)

It creates the effect of a smooth fade-out/fade-in during page loads. Very AJAXy, or as I like to call it FauxJAX ;)

Probably more like AJAX is very much like it because that feature has been in IE for as long as I can remember.

There's more options that just those two. :P Blink tag anyone?

I'm partial to blinking links (with a yellow background) and marquees (with red background) myself. Add to that those fabulous mouse trails and an animated background, and it's like smoking crack ... doesn't get any better than that! :P
