Scrolling Text

Can anyone tell me how to create scrolling text using layers? I would like it so that there are buttons to control the up and down motion of the text.

If not, can anyone point me to a good place to find out how to do it?

Macromedia Exchange have one listed called Scrolling Text from Thomas Brattli. I think it is also available from his website [bratta.com].

You could also try Dynamic Drive [dynamicdrive.com] or any other of the free scripts sites.
