Removing IE Plugin

How do I remove an internet explorer plugin.

I downloaded a plugin to look at a clients site and now want to remove it, but can't find out how to do it. Is there a generic way of removing plugins?

try to go to internet properties/options then click on the SETTINGS button under temporary internet files, on the new window, click on VIEW OBJECTS then try to delete the files listed there.

or simply locate the path in windows:

x:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\

then delete the files there.
