I don't think it's a good idea to put a .dll file in your computer from someone elses. Most of them are database files and they don't transfer well from one system to the other. Why not backup the .dbx files on a backup drive and download and reinstall Outlook Express via Microsoft?

Ove,

I have Win 98 and OL Express and don't have that file on my system either although OL works fine.

Sorry, tried to help ...

I think MarkHutch suggestion will work best. Archive the .dbx files and reload Outlook. I have had to do this in the past before wiping me drives.
