all the sudden, pop up ads in IE6 like crazy!

I never have the problem at work! I have IE6, no updates (shhhh) and at home all the sudden I am getting nailed by pop-ups. Cleaned out cookies and no good. I do not have this problem at work, what could it be? They are even interrupting my online gaming 8-( Please help!

Hi mahlon2,

Maybe some scumware was installed without your knowledge. To unsinstall it, get Lavasoft's ad aware. Free to use.

You could also use a browser with a built in pop up killer [opera.com].
