What programming language do I use?

I want to create a type of 'diagnosis' type feature.

As a content boost to my site, I want to add some kind of troubleshooting page, where the user clicks on a few starting point text (which is linked), and new text pops up underneath. Sort of like a doctor diagnosing a problem. Is your throat sore? Does you have a fever as well. Then its the flu.

Examples can be seen on msn, where you can use +/- to add or delete a story in those boxes. Or on blogger, when you click on a month like decemeber 2007, the archive pops up.

I'm guessing this is javascript.

Any help is appreciated.

What you're looking to do is accomplished with a combination of javascript and css. Javascript is used to add/remove nodes from the document tree.

Thanks for the help. While I'm pretty efficient with CSS and HTML, I have yet to try and tame javascript. Good to know for the future.
