I do a lot of screenshots and having those branded with my company name is one of those neat little added features.

Cheers for the tip! The 'trick' has been around for a few years it seems; Applies to... IE3!? Where was the registry then? Where was I?!

Although I don't seem to get the "provided by <your custom title>" as mentioned on the Microsoft Help and Support page, I just get "<your custom title>" - a good thing!

Apparently there is a Firefox addon (Firesomething 1.8.0) which does something similar (and a whole lot more)... not tried it though.

I can tell from screenshots that I receive that very few will modify their Internet Explorer Window Title.

To be honest, I reverted back to the norm after having a bit of a play. For the simple reason that when I take a screenshot of the browser it is usually to demonstrate what a site looks like in that particular browser, so to clearly emphasise what browser it is the better.

Also, if it's what most users see, and I'm developing a site for most users...

However, if I was to take screenshots for marketing purposes, then it could be a worthwhile edit.
