Do all of your sites use the same style sheet?

Do they appear in italic on another computer?

...Trying to find out if this is a site problem, or a problem with your IE settings.

If the answer to both questions is "No", or "I don't know", then try this:

Open Internet Explorer, click "Tools" at the top of the IE window, then select Internet Options->General->Fonts

Check to see if an italic font is selected for Web Page font.

Select Times New Roman for Web Page Font, and Courier New for the Plain Text font (I believe these are the as-delivered defaults).

Other than a changed CSS style sheet common to all of your sites, this is the only place I can think of right now where something could "suddenly" go wrong.

HTH. If not, please give more details!

Tried that, its definetly something wrong with my IE settings... Other websites show italic writing, when i know its not supposed to..

My IE fonts(under internet options), are arial and courrier, which are the defaults...

Well here's another possibility.

In the Same place, Tools¦Internet Options¦General¦Accessibility - Do you have a style sheet there? ('use style sheet')

All of the messages in this thread, for example, are in italics...

Here's another far fetched possibility.

Go to Control Panel¦Fonts, then double click the Arial font that you have in there. Does it show italic?

Suggestion here, although remote, is that the (base) Arial font has been replaced by the Arial italic font.

Couldn't find anything on MS knowledge base about this at all.

kingkelly,

As a last resort, under Control Panel Add/Remove Programs->Install/Uninstall, select
Microsoft Internet Explorer->Add/Remove->Repair Internet Explorer

If this goes wrong, you may end up having to reinstall Windows.
