Hi guys,

I am experiencing a very strange issue with Safari (Mac, version 2.0.4). I have a page which takes up the entire screen but has a scroll bar which can go down an inch. Issue occurs when the user scrolls down- the very bottom border disappears. But strangely again, if you refresh the page and scroll down, the problem is no longer there.

Have any of you experience this issue with Safari? This page works perfectly fine in FF, IE7 and IE6.

I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Emon.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld emon123! The effect that you are describing sounds like a redrawing problem within Safari - when you scroll down, the browser doesn't handle the moving content correctly.

Unfortunately, if this is the case, there is very little you can do - it's a problem that can affect all browsers to some extent. It may also only be a local problem, so try it (if you can) on other Macs running the same version of Safari.
