Way to convert traditional XHTML to Strict Doctype

I have two sections of old websites that I want to merge. I am trying to combine traditional XHTML Doctype with bit of code that that is strict.

Is there a way to easily convert the traditional to strict or strict to traditional?

Hello woocha, and welcome to the forums.

Strict xhtml that validates will also validate as transitional xhtml. That's the easiest road - make all the dtds transitional.
