IE Hangs *Sometimes*!

A complex webpage makes IE hangs, requiring to force-close the window

Hi There!

I am the webmaster of a complex website.
On my forum pages, sometimes a forum page with a lot of images causes IE6 or 7 to hang completely. This requires closing the window with right clicking on the taskbar icon.
This happens only on some thread pages, and only on IE.
Posting more comments to the page might "shake it out" of this situation - but there are no seen html problems anyway.

Welcome aboard nonZero, do these pages validate in the W3c validator? I would start there.

Is IE configured to "Display a notification about every script error" (off by default) - a possible JavaScript error?
