Ive inserted a .swf file into a <DIV> layer in HTML. I want the flash movie to play behind another <DIV> but for some reason the flash movie always plays on top, is there anyway of playing a .swf behind other objects in HTML

As far as I know there is no way. Depending on what you want to achieve, there might be anotherway as a layer.

I have tried to do this also. Browsers seem to put Flash movies and java applets at the top of the z order. It is a pain if you are using fly-out menus or other dhtml that needs top placement. I still have not heard of or found a hack to fix this.
