Internet Explorer Display Problem

My right-aligned image in the table on my website does not display correctly in Internet Explorer, but is okay in Firefox.

The problem I am having with IE is that it leaves a gap of about an inch between the image and the right side of the table, despite my aligning the image properties to "RIGHT". Even when I remove the image, the flowing text does not align up against the right side, but breaks off and just flows down the page.

How can I fix this?

I would start by Validating [validator.w3.org] your markup.

Can you post some of your CSS (if you're using it) and relavent HTML.

Hi. I am not using CSS. I constructed the site in Dreamweaver 4 using purely tables and align tags.

Check the width of your right column. Should be 979.

Cheers for the kind advice. My website is pleasingly okay now.
