I know where they are supposed to be, and they work fine. But even searching with Windows Explorer I simply can't find them.

Thank, Peter

In IE7 tool bar, go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > SETTINGS > VIEW FILES.

Thanks, and that Settings is under the General tab, subheading Browser history.

I found my cookie but now I'd like to see what's in it. I used to be able to just click on it. Any ideas?

I've always heard that you can have 20 cookies, up to 4kb each. But I never really understood what that meant.

Does that mean that each of my users will be able to store 20 cookies for my domain? And 20 for any other domain they visit?

And each of those 20 can be 4kb?

Finally, are those 20 cookies 20 distinct files on their hard drive? Or are the (up to) 20 cookies combined into a single file of up to 80 kb?

Thanks so much,

Peter

Hello

You have to set up the files options

Not sure what you mean by set up file options.

I figured out how to view the cookie, and I see that multiple cookies are placed in one file.

So I assume that it can consist of up to 20 cookies of up to 4 kb each.

Thanks, Peter
