Can anyone please tell me how you have an image that is 580x273 reduced to fit table size of a table 272x109? I have been on a few sites that have cell/s size 272x109 and if i copy the cell background image it's actually 580x273.. Can anyone help please?

shansta,

You need eithr an image program or a wysiwyg editor that allows you to resize images THEN resample them at their new size. Merely resizing without resampling actually won't change the image's overall size, especially if you cannot define the height and width in a page, something you can't do if it's a background image. If you don't have any editor, do a search. There are several free ones online.

It what way does it not fit?

Marshall

If you resized proportionally, it goes from 580x273 to 272x128. Right width, still too much height. You will have to eithr crop it or not resize proportionally.

I'd suggest that you validate your mark-up first. Trying to deal with rendering problems when there are still errors in the HTML or CSS is almost always a frustrating exercise.
