my website wants to run an add-on?

I recently changed the index page of my website to a CSS format, and now when I open my website up in a browser, it's got a yellow bar right under the browser window that reads:

"this website wants to run the following add-on: Windows Media Player from Microsoft Corporation. If you trust the website and the add-on, and want to allow it to run, click here...."

Anyone know how this happened? It hasn't done this before.

Thanks so much...

Is your host adding a pop-up advert over your site with a video in their box?

I don't *think* so - and it seems like it's something I did, since it changed when I changed the coding for my index page.
I just don't know what!

Do you have a .wmv or other media file embedded in the page somewhere? It sounds like it's trying to play something.

Another possibility is that you have somehow associated .css files with your Windows Media Player.

My thanks to everyone.

I figured out what happened. I had changed my music coding to be applicable to more browsers, and when I switched it back to coding that worked just in windows, the yellow bar disappeared.
