server/url history list query

Hi

If I delete cookies directly at the server (for a particular
site) will that mean the user will not see the site url in
their browser's url history list?

(if not, is there any other way to prevent an url from
showing in the url history list?.. or else substituting
another url in its place?).

cookies and history are independent and unrelated.
