IE 6: Same window error

Not about html but browser; when i open a new window, it shows up in the current window...ie- i can't have 2 windows open up individually..anyone know what's going on, it's driving me crazy.. thnx

yes..i found the problem though..it's tools, internet options, advanced, uncheck the "reuse same window" box...that one i have not seen before..thnx
