I'm working on a site that has the anchor text links 1 size smaller than regular link text. This only shows up in Win XP IE6. I have the body text set in Arial at 12 px and same for regular links.

I tried setting a class called Anchor for the anchor links but then they were much larger than the other text and underlined, etc. So I took it back out. It seems to me I shouldn't have to do this.

Anyone else experience anchor link text being smaller than regular text in Win XP IE 6 and know of a workaround?

I figured it out. I didn't have a complete doc type on the affected pages. Those pages with the complete doc type were ok.

Was this an inheritance issue from the containing parent block, then?

No. The very first paragraph on the page had affected links (only controls for link size were in the CSS file). The only change made was putting in a valid (instead of shortened) Doc Type. Other pages that had the full length Doc Type were not affected . I had designed the site with a full length doc type and later messed up the template so all new pages were affected with this problem. CSS and HTMl validated on all pages.
