Hi All,

I've been using IE 7 and have noticed that IE6 and Firefox will display a default background color as white. However, With IE7, There are a lot of websites that should have a white background but the default color isn't set which makes this noticable.

I guess what I am trying to say is that cetain sites that did not specify #FFFFFF as the default background color now has a cream color and since most of these sites are not using transparent images, it's noticable and most of the time pretty odd looking.

Has anyone else noticed this or is this just happening to me?

Change the colors here:
Tools ¦ Internet Options ¦ General (tab), Appearance, Colors

the default is to use your Windows colors.

Although I always specify a background colour you just worried me with this topic :)

I have IE7 and I just knocked up a quick page without specifying the default background colour and I added a few images with white backgrounds... all looked fine on mine.
