It's a modified version of IE7, with the Google toolbar built-in and the default search engine set to Google.

It looks like an IE7 installation built with the usual MS IEAK [microsoft.com] available to all developers.

I would hesitate to call it a Google browser as yet - Google are investing a lot of money and promotion of Firefox as a recemmended product in the place of IE. This IE7 version, I suspect, merely is to fill the gap for users not willing or interested in switching to an alternative browser.

Firefox, as good as it is will NEVER bet IE due to the sheer volume; no matter Google does. Its a fact of life.
