I have some real problem with my IE 6.
It doesn't matter what I do my browser shut down after a few pages...

What OS are you using? Does it close even if idle, or is it as soon as you go to a new page? Do you get any errors? Can you ALT+TAB back to it?

We have the scenario here... where IE6 closes down (no error) if the page that is being viewed is deleted/moved (working locally)! Not sure if it's Windows Server 2003 that's doing something in the background?! But the page need not be part of a website, just a simple HTML file on the system.

WinXP Pro, I've got no errors, but seems to be a virus or something because now it's work fine. After a cleaning...
Thanks!

Clear your cookies, all those little things there, it should work. When used locally, to view a page on your harddrive, it'll close if the page is removed. Not sure about win xp though.

Yeah, I've just tried IE with Win XP Pro, and that does it too! The browser closes if the page that is being viewed is deleted (working locally) - it seems to be OK if the file is renamed though! (FF doesn't exhibit this behaviour, thank goodness!) I can't say that I would normally delete files like this, so have not witnessed this behaviour before, but the project I'm currently working on involves moving whole chunks of files around (bit of a nightmare to be honest) and having to constantly reopen IE all the time is an added hassle!
