Ad blocking with Internet Explorer 7

Which ads appear and which don't?

I've heard it said that Google AdSense ads are not appearing on Web pages that are viewed with IE7. If you're using IE7, is this the case on your system?

(I'd like to know, but IE7 isn't available for Macs, and I love my Mac too much to buy a PC just to find out.)

Does IE7 provide any unique ad-blocking features?

Thanks!

I see AdSense ads just fine on a new install of IE7.

If adblocking came standard on IE7, MSN would lose 90% of it's revenue.

I've heard it said that Google AdSense ads are not appearing on Web pages that are viewed with IE7....

Said by who?

I wonder how that person figured out a way to block the plain HTML from ads and not block anything else?

Sounds like another goofy urban legend to me.

Thanks for clarifying this.

The issue was first raised in the AdSense forum, on the second page of this thread:
