I have several forms on my site that do everything from registration processing, to collect informatin....etc.

most important fields are required, and the general ones are not.

pretty basic form processing.

Here is my question...i have a tracking module installed on those pages and it is saying that my "registration/thanks.asp" is getting more hits than the actual registration page itself...?

i have 12 registration form hits and 52 "thanks.asp" page hits.

yes, you can directly type in the url and get to the thanks page, but i dont think an average user would even try that...

could a spider, or cralwer be responsible for all of the erroneous hits on the thanks page?

Hackers could be going directly to the form to try to hack into your site. It could be bots as well.

Yessuh, doesn't matter what language it's in log all data input from your form processors. It can be very revealing.
