Help with WML attributes

I cannot find a site with updated info on WML, so I come here to ask if someone knows how to set font and background color on WML pages.

The guide here : [w3schools.com...] is so outdated that states that the only image format for WAP browsers is the "black and white WBMP" format. And that's the tip-top website for WML... for God's sake! Any WAP browser can display JPG, GIF, and PNG already.

Well, the thing is there's 2 types of WMLs. There's WML 1 for old phones (so black and white BMPs) and there's now the XHTML mobile profile. This is just basic HTML. W3Schools have some good stuff for WML, but it is outdated. The thing I do on my site is do a browser check:

If MDIP 1 > WML
MDIP 2 > XHTML
