Why would IE break our Yahoo store?

This is very strange...

We have a Yahoo store.

Yesterday we started having a very weird problem. When people place orders online, and get to the final check out page (shipping and billing), and click the "continue" (place order) button nothing happens - but ONLY if they are using IE6 or IE7.

If using FireFox or other browser it works fine.

Any ideas at all what would cause this kind of behaviour? Some stealth update to IE or something?

I have talked to other Yahoo store owners, and the same has showed up on 1 or 2 others, but not for most. So at this point not even sure if the problem is IE or not, but it seems odd that only IE browsers would not work. It is a simple post form button on https.

There's nothing in any recent IE updates which would suddenly change how IE is handling your form. Does the form submission involve any Javascript or pop-up window? Is this occuring on multiple machines or just one?

It occurs on any manchine using IE6 or IE7. But not FireFox.

I suspect it is a glitch in the Yahoo store code, but not sure. The fact that it works fine in FF makes me wonder what is different about clicking a button in IE than FF....
