Probably meaningful only for old-timers and browser collectors, but SeaMonkey 1.0.4 has now replaced Mozilla 1.7.13 on the official mozilla.org home page.

So long, old friend. May your children prosper.

Yes, but 1.7.13 hasn't been updated in months, and so is missing the latest patches applied to Firefox 1.5.0.6 and SeaMonkey 1.04. So, as previously announced, the Moxilla browser has reached the end of the line.

It'll be interesting to see if Mozilla 1.7.x users transition to Firefox+Thunderbird, or to SeaMonkey, which still retains the WYSIWYG HTML editor and e-mail client. I haven't seen a perceptible shift in my stats yet.

I find the SeaMonkey name to be "unfortunate" if the team really intends to target the corporate user. The package itself seems pretty solid, though, as would be expected given its heritage.
