css in ms outlook 2003

Hi there,

I tried making a webpage with css to use as an email template.

Css has not been recognised in microsoft outlook 2003, The only element it resognises is the test in a <span> tag.

Do I need to put eveything in its own tag? will it not recognise the style of a h1 tag if assigned with css?

CSS within emails is particularly problematic, and many email clients strip out head contents from the HTML email as well as alter key elements within the markup.
