So, will testing in Mozilla 1.0 produce the same results as the new AOL brower or will AOL make changes to it?
I'd expect that AOL would customize it to one extent, but there's one thing you've got to remember. It's in AOL's best interest to have "compatibility". They've never really been able to have it before because of the simple fact that MS has a lot of things that they can't go in and recode, yet they need to be back compatible with their primary AOL services. By having an open source solution, they can finally have browsers that are completely compatible with the web AND their own built in services.
That being said, don't expect that the ball won't be fumbled a few times before everything works right - it's the nature of big business. ;)
