Web site garage used to have a tool that checked a site's browser compatibily with the IE and netcape browsers, is anyone aware of where to get hold of one, freeware if possible? Thanks.

My best suggestion, would to download different browsers, and test your site with them. There isn't a program out there that can simulate how the user will behave, i use 4 different browsers when checking new sites, to see how they react to different things.
I would also strongly recommend using [validator.w3.org...] and see if they find anything wrong, if they don't find anything, your site will work fine in almost every broswer out there.
