I nearly passed my peanut butter sandwich through my nose. Thank you - my day was waaaay too serious before.
I've been having IE problems on one of my computers (time to wipe everything and reinstall) so I've been using NS 6 for some of my surfing. It's really disappointing to see how awful it is in comparison to the M*crosoft product.
Nick, do you use just Linux or Windows, too?
I wonder if this is the version that AOL is supposed to be using when they switch over. That would be dandy, NS with AOL's special file compression format to boot.

Some will like the Download Manager. I have no use of it.
The improved bookmark management is good.
I think it loads and renders faster than NN6 too.
I like it. But Opera is still my favorite browser.

Just Linux. Only use Win to test in IE and always feel like washing my hands afterwards Ugggh!
After an hour or so of using it I reckon it's quite an improvement, it definately renders quicker and has a 'cleaner' feel to the tools and menus, slightly smaller and neater looking?

Ah yes, the old nemesis - new "features". That's the approach I expect from Time/Warner/AOL/Netscape. Reminds me of an old Firesign Theater album:
"Now my friends, if you're Mr. Common Sense you won't believe me when I tell you that I've got a little envelope here that will will wash your dishes while you're driving your car at home to work."
