I have been on for days trying to sort it out. This is really starting to bug me as I would like to press ahead with the redesign but I can't until it works in all modern browsers and at all resolutions.
Can someone please have a look at it just to point out what I am doing wrong or what I can do to fix it. I spent absolutely ages getting it to work in the above mentioned browsers and I feel like crying when I see alignement problems at differant resolutions. I have included the a demo in my profile.
Any pointers, advice would be very much appreciated.
Web design eh!
AHR...why cant' there be one browser and one resolution - it would make my job a lot easier :)

Wouldn't matter anyway, since the user can always size the browser to take up only part of the available screen. Anyway, a great tool is
BrowserSizer.
I think the company is called "ApplyThis" or something like that and the tool is free. It doesn't force users into the resolution you want ;), but at least it helps simulate other screen sizes quickly and easily.

Argh, why can't everyone just do what I tell them to do! Everything would be a whole lot better then!

As for your question, a question.
Is your problem the little disparity you are having between the horizontal "welcome to stickysauce" bar and the columnar content beneath it?
If this is the problem, I think it is because your percentages are asymmetrical. I can go into more detail if this is the case.
If this is not the problem, then what is? I don't see anything else that jumps out at me.
One suggestion: simplify your table structure a bit. It's nested table hell in there.
Anyway I am really gratful for the replys.
*pat_s* The alignment problems are when I change my resolution to higher than 800x600 - it's only minute alignment problems but I'm sadly a perfectionist and must have it working in all modern browsers at all resolutions.
*DrDoc* Thanks for your kind offer - I have sticky mailed you :}
*ergophobe* I didn't know that there is a tool for browser resizing - they think of everything.
*moonbiter* I'm trying to sort that nested table hell - the only thing is it's hell trying to do it.
Anyway thanks for your responses guys, everytime I have had a problem or a question to ask, the members of this site have always been really helpfull. The name webmasterworld sure is apt. Keep up the good work all.
Cheers,
