Is it possible to export from Access to My SQL?

I am completely nuts when it comes to My SQL database.

Is it possible that I can use MS Access to develop a My-SQL database from scratch and with limited knowledge? My ISP says he can provide me MySQL service but not MS-SQL.

Please help
Thanks

Hi Alex:

There are programs available to convert Access to mySql. Do a search of these forums and you should find the thread.

I asked the same question a few months back.

TXbakers.

I am realy a freak. I want so much to learn about new things, but I want to learn them now. I can't wait for the bookshop to open next day and also I can't go through all the junk that books present before I find out that my question was not actually answered.

Thank you all for this wonderful forum, but TXbakers, how can I perform a search in this forum? There is no such an option.

Can you link me to that thread, or at least tell me what application to use?

Thank you again

Alex

if you look at the menu on the top of the page it says "site search" beside the webmasterworld logo in the top left.

Cool jatar_k.

I got a bit confused with everything lately but it seems that I am on the good way.

Go to
[mysql.com...]

There are lots of converters there.

I've used this one and it works great:

If in ACC2K or later, you'll have to enable DAO 3.6 - earlier versions have it enabled by default
