How do IFrames work and what are they? (phpnuke)

title says it all really..

I am making up a clan web site and im using phpnuke, I am also using this CGI members script and result script (you can simply enter in game results and it makes charts for it, you can add information about the game, add screen shots etc)

I was wondering if its possible to add CGI scripts into a phpnuke page

As you probbley guess I know nothing about coding

I will have to try it on this CGI script, does iframes work most of the time problem free?

They work fine, but were not supported in older browsers - your biggest concern would probably be Netscape 4.
