Let me be first to mention it, but your URL will be snipped. You can include it in your profile, but even those types of posts are discouraged.
There is a forum at www.htmlhelp.com/bbs where you can post URLs for people to check, but that forum doesn't have the same level of developer as this does.
alongside the above, you can be more tactful. As you can never quantify "a site" with anything useful, just ask questions like "the frames on my site, should i remove them", and give us the background on it
that way youre asking a question that can affect us all and still get an in depth answer to your question :) Also, use the site search at the top of the page, it can help with various small Q's you may have about "stuff" in general
The reason URL's aint allowed in here is basically because a quality site like this can be spammed silly with people posting their URL's, keywords etc etc etc
Apart from that, you have everything that a webmaster needs here (almost) ;)
Hello and welcome...... Im a newb here too, but keep coming back. You will find this site is a great resource tool, and lots of friendly people here.
I checked out your profile and went to the sites, not bad. If you are getting into web design as a profession, I would suggest loosing the links to the personal sites....
Unfortunately some business people may look at the personal photos, and think 'amateur'.
The rug site is a good example of keeping the home page uncluttered, your text on the opening page for the site is cramping the photo of the rug. Looks a little crowded... :)
The page for rugs though has lots of nice room between photos and text, looks good. Is the green text the choice of client??
The copyright area and designed by area, off centered. :(
The specials page, BIG text, yikers.... You might think about a nice little animated gif of some sort, humm........
The carpet page, nice....... Spot cleaning, nice info for clients. But again green text, and not bold or larger, kind of hard on the eyes. At least, these old eyes...... LOL ;)
Contact us page, the lower photos of the 3 people, cell spacing is alot, its really wide.........
A few typos here and there, but nothing too major.
All in all, very good...... Hope you dont mind a 'critical' eye.

In many ways, WebmasterWorld resembles an extended family... We discuss weighty matters, voice differences of opinions, and always try to help each other. Even when we disagree, there is mutual respect.
This is a place where a single question and a single answer can benefit many. "Beginner" or "seasoned pro," you can never be certain where the next great piece of information or insight may come from; there is always more to learn. Never hesitate to ask questions... you'll see there is never a shortage of answer or possible solutions!
Now... some opinions: Editors such as Frontpage can be a blessing and a curse. When first attempting web design, editors that supply "templates," java-rollovers and graphics sets can be a great help. The problem is they can also hinder learning by "helping" too much.
For example, a great deal of sites created using Frontpage can be spotted immediatley by a seasoned surfer because of a number of similarities.
I notice the spacing and size of the "rollover menu" that is common with many Frontpage sites. I always am left with the impression of a "cookie cutter" site... One that is assembled using "cut n' paste" methods and lacking in originality.
To be certain, not all Frontpage sites are like this, many show excellent design and creativity. The key is to break away from the templates and ready made button sets and move on to designes that reflect your own individuality.
I agree with the previous comments... just a little tweaking here and there.
Looks good in Opera, and IE6... ;)
