Neoplanet is nothing but an Internet Explorer with an own surface. If you don't have IE (4 and up) you can't get Neoplanet.

As DrOliver says, Neoplanet is mostly just a skin for IE's modular mode. It does integrate some extra features like e-mail and instant messaging, but they didn't really add anything you couldn't get elsewhere. Come to think of it, anything Neoplanet did, Mozilla probably does better.

Their Hotbot skin is more fun. Whenever you start it up, it plays a soundclip of some guy screeching "Bring on zee Hotbottttt!".

Then again, that was another problem with Neoplanet: always more style than substance.
