My design relative to good design

Hello folks, im the newest newbie and have a little question / poser

my site has recent been moved to a domain name at [snip]

The site intends to promote education and biology on the web. Im not a great designer but would be greatful if people could take a look and give me their thoughts (either cruel or kind) on design, overall site etc

It looks good to me - browsing and navigation was simple and not confusing. The soft green is a bit weird to my eyes, but that's probably just me. It could use some pictures or designs here and there just to make it more interesting. The super small text might be hard for others to read. I'd say the only bad thing is the pop-up ads...after browsing through several pages I had about 6 pop up ads waiting for me.

In regards to pop ups, ill take them out....

I have R-O-N ads to cover the cost of bandwidth until the site can stand on its own two feet, ill take the pop ups off..

They annoy me too and Ill take them off now!

I had a quick look around, and apart from the green I thought the site was great.

The text size resizes, although becomes a little ugly when viewing Largest Fonts.

Site Navigation and Setup is fantastic, and the best thing is you have content, content, content.
